Weekend Reads + Sale Finds
Things have been a little quiet recently on the blog, but for good reason... we just moved into our new home in Charleston!
It was love at first sight and we've been planning this move strategically for months. Now it's finally here. For anyone who's moved states away before, you know that there is a lot of stress and planning that comes along with such a big leap. We still have some unpacking to do (ahem, my closet), but things are coming together and starting to feel like home.
The nice part about the move is that I was able to unplug for awhile. There's something to be said about shutting your laptop and immersing yourself in a bit of a break from the digital world. I'm coming back several shades darker and feeling refreshed. We're taking the weekend to enjoy our new city and looking forward to coming back on Monday with a fresh perspective.
In the meantime, here are a few articles I've bookmarked recently for you to enjoy:
— Run, don't walk to the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I just sifted through 70+ pages of products with early access. I've linked to my favorites below!
— I've always been a fan of Ulla Johnson's romantic designs and her home is no exception.
— Last year, we went camping in Utah's Moab National Park and it was life-changing. This piece on camping tips for people who think they hate camping might be the thing that gets you to book your next flight.
— Barbecue season is in full-swing! Read this goop guide to figure out how to buy the best cuts of meat and poultry for your next outdoor bash. (Carnitas tacos, anyone?)
— I recently started collecting cookbooks on my travels. These nine are next on my list.
