Cozy Fall Entertaining with Local + Lejos
Fall is always my favorite time of the year. There's something so comforting about being outside in the crisp weather, surrounded by rich autumn hues. I definitely feel the most creatively inspired during this season.
Since the weather is cooling down a lot, we've been enjoying time in our new home with our doors wide open and dinners al fresco on the porch. My favorite thing is to cook a big meal, set a pretty tablescape and enjoy good company.
We recently stocked up on a few pieces from Local + Lejos, a Los Angeles-based decor company that sources homewares from places far and wide. They design modern, elevated home products using traditional techniques with artisans around the world.
These cowhorn tumblers are a super glam and statement making addition to our bar cart. I absolutely love using them for cocktails and mixed drinks! People are always asking me where I got them. They could also double for a really chic makeup brush holder. There's really no limit on where in the home you can use them!
When the sun goes down, I love to layer in a cozy throw and the Aurora blanket is my go-to. This piece was made by artisans in Cambodia. I love the sandy pink tone, which sways both feminine and neutral. I love to layer it on the bench in my bedroom when I'm not using it for entertaining. I love the gorgeous fringe detailing and stitched seams. I'm a big fan of texture, so the little things can really make a piece for me.
When it comes to seasonal decorating, look to warm, tonal hues that mimic those found in nature. There's plenty of one-of-a-kind pieces to be found at Local + Lejos. Shop them here.
