One of my favorite things about fall is how easy it is to experiment with textures and hues. There's a certain something in the air that makes me feel refreshed and ready to take on a new look. I'm always looking to add new pieces to my wardrobe that make a statement. Rich, jewel tones and luxurious textures are my fall kryptonite. They're the perfect building blocks for a versatile wardrobe and can easily be taken into winter (and even spring).

I've been on the hunt for classic pieces that give a nod to trends, but I know can be worn for years. I'm really loving thick, chunky knits (who doesn't) paired with distressed denim. A midi skirt feels really fresh right now and can be paired as easily with thigh high boots as it can with a pair of sneakers. A smooth, leather belt is always in fashion—this one from Stella McCartney happens to be vegan, but you would never know it.

A chunky boot gives the look an edge. I'm loving this pair from Everlane, so fittingly named the Boss Boot. I absolutely love adding a silk scarf to my look (so chic and can be worn in so many ways). This one is vintage Dior, but you can easily scout some at your local thrift or vintage shop. Minimal gold hoops are kind of my thing right now and this Isabel Marant pair is the perfect size. Top off the look with a fedora (I love anything Janessa Leone) and an of-the-moment bag (this one is by Simon Miller), and you've got a look that can take you from season to season with ease.

Fall is by far the most fun season, wouldn't you agree? x
