Effortless, Beach Wave Tutorial
I'm a big fan of low-maintenance styles and this 3-step beach wave tutorial is no exception.
These soft, loose waves are my go-to hairstyle for almost every occasion. There's something very feminine and romantic about the look, but also a bit undone.
The best part? This look requires no heat or styling tools!
Here are the only products you'll need:
This tutorial starts in the shower! You'll want to hydrate the hair without weighing it down. I use the John Masters Organics Evening Primrose Shampoo for Dry Hair. I actually skip conditioner when I'm going for this look so it has even more volume and texture. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling silky sans conditioning.
Since my hair is color treated, it's really important that I use products that promote healthy hair and scalp. I've been using John Masters products for years and love that they're made with natural, organic ingredients at an accessible price point.
When you get out of the shower, use a soft towel to gently "rough up" the hair and give it a bit more texture. You want your hair to be damp, but removing most of the water is going to make sure your hair can really soak in the next product.
I try to air dry my hair as much as possible to keep it healthy and limit the amount of breakage.
Now for the fun part! I use John Masters Organics Sea Mist with Lavender to really hold the waves and give me some beachy, cool-girl texture. This sea salt spray smells heavenly and doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy or stuff. I just spritz it throughout my damp hair and scrunch it throughout to add the volume I'm looking for.
Soft, beachy waves in only three easy steps and just two products!
