Not So Basic Invites
With the holiday season quickly approaching, let party season commence. But with the influx of social events and gatherings coming up, how can you make sure your event stands out?
Meet Basic Invite.
With over 250 Christmas card and holiday card designs, it's hard not to find something you love. Whether you're looking for photo Christmas cards, invites for Christmas parties or a holiday work party invitation, there's something for everyone.
Basic invite is one of the only brands I've found that gives you seemingly endless color options (all of which you can preview online). Once you find your perfect design, you have the option to change the elements to make it uniquely yours, down to the littlest detail. That's one of the things that always frustrated me about other stationary brands—it's refreshing to see a brand take this into consideration!
I'm especially loving the foil holiday cards this season, available in gold, silver, and rose gold. As a big fan of textures, I love that you also get the option to do a flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs. It's the little things that make a big difference. When it comes to photo Christmas cards, I want them to feel special.
Another thing I love is that they offer custom samples, perfect for people like me who want to get a feel for the cards before ordering a complete set. I love to feel the texture of the cards and make sure ever detail looks perfect before I order a set for my guests. It's comforting knowing that you're getting what you want before placing that final order, especially when you're placing a big order (holiday work party invitations, anyone?).
And let's not forget the envelope! This is the first impression your guests will have of your invitations, so it's not a little detail to let slide. With over 40 different colors to choose from, you can make your invitation stand out long before it's opened. I'm a big fan of natural colors like brown, sage and black. They really pop when you're going for that clean, minimalist look. Did I mention they are peel and seal? A small thing that makes a big difference to me. (I'm not one for licking envelopes.)
Another cool thing about this service is that you don't have to reach out personally to all of your guests in order to get their mailing address—Basic Invite offers address capturing that allows you to simply share a link to your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,or other social media pages to request their friends and family’s addresses. They'll be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process (perfect for future get-togethers!).
So when you're pulling together that list of invites for Christmas parties, holiday work party invitations or simply want to send out photo Christmas cards, look to Basic Invite to give create a card that's uniquely yours.
